Time flies, especially once you have kids and even faster when you’ve lived through the last 2 years we’ve been through!.

Despite covid lockdowns and covid concerns, our family photo sessions in the past year have risen faster than ever before.

The reason?

Families keep telling me that their kids and the grandparents are growing up too quickly and they have no photos to document any of this. Well, some have phone photos but you know what I mean. Wall and album display worthy photos that truly capture the connection between their family members and with it, the memory of a wonderful and happy experience, without Dad or most commonly, the Mum missing from them.

I heard the same thing this year in the leadup to Mothers Day school events where, despite being confined in the same house with their families for sooooo much time lately, mothers were upset at their husbands for not having taken ANY photos of her with her children (even on a phone).

This mum in our recent session at Watt Park can relate. Ordinarily, baby photos would be taken much earlier than 1 year old however with covid lockdowns and safety concerns since he was too young to be vaccinated, like many other families with new babies, they have spent most of last year not really going out.

It was actually the brother and sister in law (who have older kids themselves) who purchased a very generous photography gift package for Baby B and his family. Their experience told them that it was very important to capture these very precious and fleeting first moments whilst he’s still little, because you can’t rewind time and get those photos back again.

So on this beautiful Sydney day, we had the giggly Baby B (1) and his furbrother, Meelo (2).

His parents love him for his deep belly laughs, his cuteness and want him to remember his joyful childhood in a very much loved and supportive environment.

Originally the shoot was meant to be at Clifton Gardens however the weather had other plans and after weeks of rescheduling, we had the shoot at Watt Park and it was glorious! Baby B is just such a cute and smiley baby and his fur brother Meelo was always there to be protect!
