Kirsten | Photo Finish Photography | Ageless Over 40 - Celebrating Womens' Portraiture
Recently we had the pleasure of welcoming the lovely Kirsten to our studio for her Ageless Over 40 portrait session. Kirsten wanted to update her social media profile photos as well as get some personal branding shots for her relationship counselling business.
Kirsten is experienced in working with people from different age groups, life stages and cultural backgrounds using an empathetic, person-centred approach to counselling. She is a registered member with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) with specialisation in Counselling and Psychology and is actively involved in the community as a supervisor and group facilitator with disadvantaged youth.
As you can see Kirsten totally rocked the shots! :) She was a bit apprehensive of the camera when she first arrived but it is our job to help relax and pose you so that you can see the beauty that we see. The session starts off with professional hair and makeup and then a transformative 1 hour photo session with me. We love cocreating images with you that are authentic, relaxed and connected. We SEE YOU and can’t wait to show the world what we see :)

What made you decide to book your shoot?
I needed some profesional photos, then doing this shoot had an appeal.
How were you feeling before your shoot?
Nervous and not in the mood for photos 😂
Did anything surprise you throughout the session?
How quickly everyone made me feel special and comfortable
How would you describe this experience?
It was a real surprise. The whole experience, Olivia and her team are such a unique and special business
How did you feel?
I felt that I still had a lot too give on so many levels😂
Would you recommend it to your family and friends?
Yes!
What do you like most about your images?
My hair blowing in the wind like a super model
What do you love about life over 40?
I have an anchor, I am independent and I have surrounded myself with wonderful humans friend s and family
What part of you feels ageless?
My spirit
What have you learned in your 40s that you would tell your younger self?
To only feel like you matter everyday.
