I simply can’t believe Mr A has turned one in a blink of an eye (covid makes time seem like its going faster) and he is walking, running and kicking balls already!! Where has that delicate little bundle of baby chubba gone??
Mum was an absolute champion and stayed up late to make this epic piggy cake for Mr A’s pig themed first birthday photo session. Doesn’t it look awesome!?! It was super dense and smelt oh so good!! Mmmm… chocolate!! :) What a way to remember Mr A’s 1st birthday cake smash!!
I also love it when fathers sing to their kids. There is something about singing doting fathers that is just so…grouding/reassuring. I’ve been lucky to have had two great Dad singers in my studio and Mr A’s dad is one of them. The other one is a professional singer :)
Whenever Baby A was crying in the studio for his newborn shoot or even now at 1, his Dad would start singing to him with that beautiful deep, velvety voice and Mr A calm down and fall asleep. Such a beautiful connection!!

This cake was so dense and heavy that it was quite difficult to smash!! Even the toddler stepping all over it hardly did any damage!!
