Before the world went crazy this year with a new virus, there was life as we knew it: freedom and so much stuff.
There have been a lot of changes these last 2-3 months for everyone across the globe and in the constant juggle of the new now, I have often found peace and sooooo much joy in editing my clients’ photos that were taken in the leadup to our temporary office closure in mid-March 2020. Sometimes even with a glass or rose or moscato!! :) Funnily enough, parent feedback so far this year has been that they LOVE the photos even more this year! :) I do love a good moscato from Peterson House ;)
To all parents out there who are struggling with homeschooling, I hear ya!!! There are up days and down days… up days I’m like “Cool,let’s work out a new rhythm and flow… we got this!! Some days I’m like 😮😣😫😖😡😭🥰- literally in that order and then repeat!
I’m excited and nervous about school resuming one day next week as working from home whilst in lockdown with homeschooling and feeding my 3 piranhas their 3 hot meals a day plus snacks - sometimes straight after a main meal has been, and continues to be … very challenging. There is no amount of planning that you can do to try and prepare for the day or days ahead that the kids can’t unravel within 3 seconds. They know our buttons!!!
So back I go to editing the photos taken just before the lockdowns - a happier and freer time where all we do is play with the kids and capture their spirits. Sharing just a few sneak peeks from a centre we did in February 2020:
I miss their gorgeous smiles, their big personalities and capturing it all on camera!!!
Fingers crossed a vaccine is found soon so we can go back to capturing their GORGEOUS HAPPY FACES and cheeky personalities!! :)
