Completeness. Joy. New sense of purpose. It's incredible how the arrival of such a small, little, vulnerable and needy new human being can just make time stand still and take your breath away. Your whole life changes and you know it will never be the same again. For this new life is far, far better than the sum of yours for it is brimming with vast amounts of potential, worthy of all your time and attention and you would die in an instant to protect it.

Hello Miss S!! At only a few weeks old, you are already loved more than you will ever know!! The connection between this family was so incredibly strong. Miss S's doting father doesn't normally get to spend too much time with her as he works long hours so during the session, any time Mum wasn't feeding her, he had her in his arms or on his chest, constantly cradling her, smooching her and doing everything in his power to make sure that at every moment he was there with her she was loved and cared for by him. Forget the Mother-Daughter bond, with this guy the Father-Daughter bond is strong! :) It's always interesting to see when the Dads are more involved, how the Mum can still look absolutely gorgeous and glowing so quickly after birth (she was so organised she even managed to arrange hair and makeup for that morning!!), she was super relaxed and had her feeding down pat. Hint hint all you new Dads!! :)

I loved how we were able to personalise the session for them by incorporating some of their groupie habits into some of the photos, the moon prop as her name means "Moon Goddess" as well as some of the classic timeless shots of baby and then baby with family. Miss S's parents couldn't believe how much she had grown since the photo session to the viewing and ordering session! She was longer, her cheeks were fuller and her features not as dainty as in the newborn session images below.
