It's not often that we mothers get behind the camera to photograph our kids AND ourselves. Sadly, time flies by too quickly and they are no longer so small, so fragile, cradled in your arms. Believe me, I am guilty of this too!! If I was to be "ready" to take a photo with my kids every time a special moment came up, we wouldn't have very many photos :) The key is to be in the moment because in years to come, your child/(ren) will not care about your wrinkles, your unplucked eyebrows, that you had dried breastmilk on your black top - they will just be happy to see a picture of their Mummy however raw/dirty/paint-smeared we may be cuddling and loving them unconditionally. Here is a gorgeous Mummy and Daughter shot taken of Miss A .... I love capturing these connections :)
